Arch Enemy, the brainchild of Michael Amott (Carcass, Carnage, and Spiritual Beggars) was originally assembled when Michael Amott left Carcass. Guitarists Michael Amott and younger brother Christopher Amott (Armageddon) joined with vocalist Johan Liiva (ex-Carnage, Furbowl, Furbowl|Devourment) and then-session drummer Daniel Erlandsson (Eucharist) in what Michael Amott called “an attempt to merge melody with aggression and technicality.”

Boa banda, boas musicas.
Mas o estilo não é o meu preferido.

São a minha banda de Death Melódico favorita actualmente. Os gémeos Ammott são para mim o melhor duo de guitarristas da actualidade a sintonia entre eles é espectacular.
Não gosto da fase com o vocalista pré Angela embora reconheça que tenham boas malhas que foram muito bem regravadas no root of all evil.
O meu álbum favorito é o Anthems of rebellion seguido pelo Doomsday Machine.

A Angela, bem como os irmãos Ammott, são excelentes artistas! Estes, enquanto guitarristas, k power! xD
O doomsday machine é o meu favorito, seguido do novo, Khaos Legions que só comprova como são uma banda com muito potencial.

Eu gosto... mas eu olho para ela do tipo "nhe... é boa... mas assusta"
